Data & AI Scientist

We are looking for a skilled Data & AI Scientist to join our Technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis, A/B Testing and Generative AI/LLMs, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.

You will develop, evaluate and deploy machine learning and AI solutions that improve pricing strategies, customer recommendations and operational efficiency. You will work closely with engineering, product, commercial and operational teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and deploy predictive machine learning models for pricing optimization, personalized recommendations and operational efficiency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify customer behavior patterns, booking trends, anomalies and business opportunities.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, hypothesis tests and statistical experiments to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Monitor deployed model performance, adoption and business impact.
• Develop meaningful insights, dashboards and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate model effectiveness, uncertainty, bias and practical significance.
• Explore Generative AI and LLM capabilities to improve business processes and data science workflows.
• Promote responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security and output validation.
• Lead data science initiatives from problem definition through implementation and business impact assessment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, manipulation and machine learning.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Practical experience developing, evaluating and deploying Machine Learning models.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and A/B experimentation.
• Experience with predictive modeling, recommendation systems or related ML algorithms.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data platforms.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Seaborn or similar visualization tools.
• Exposure to pricing optimization, customer analytics or recommendation systems.
• Experience applying AI tools to improve data analysis, model development and documentation.
• Understanding of customer behavior, commercial performance and operational analytics.
