Job Profile – Dance Teacher | IB School

• Position: Dance Teacher
• Location: Worli, South Mumbai

Experience: Relevant experience in teaching Dance, preferably in an IB/International School

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Dance lessons aligned with IB curriculum and learner-centred approaches.
• Teach various dance forms, techniques, choreography, movement and performance skills.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, collaboration and cultural awareness among students.
• Prepare students for school performances, productions, showcases and events.
• Assess and document student progress using appropriate IB assessment practices.
• Integrate dance with interdisciplinary learning and the IB Learner Profile.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and participate in school activities, exhibitions and performances.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Dance, Performing Arts or a relevant discipline.
• Strong knowledge of dance techniques and choreography.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• IB/International School experience preferred; IB training/certification is an advantage.
