• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing.
• Identify and report security risks in web applications and systems.
• Assist in implementing security controls and best practices.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Document security findings and prepare assessment reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application security.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends. Required Skills
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, or Wireshark.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
• Understanding of vulnerability assessment and ethical hacking concepts.
