Cyber Security Intern

We are looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Intern / Associate to join our cybersecurity and technology team. The candidate will work on real-world security projects involving vulnerability assessment, authorised security testing, web and API security, security monitoring, and security research.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vulnerability assessments and authorised security testing of applications and systems.
• Identify, document, and reproduce security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security testing of web applications, APIs, and network systems.
• Analyse security logs and events using security monitoring/SIEM tools.
• Assist in security assessments and penetration-testing activities.
• Perform reconnaissance, vulnerability analysis, and basic security testing.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist developers and technical teams with vulnerability remediation.
• Prepare vulnerability assessment reports and technical documentation.
• Support security automation and cybersecurity projects.
• Follow responsible and authorized security-testing practices.
