Cyber Security Engineer Data Center IT Infrastructure

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and secure data center IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and security systems.
• Monitor security alerts, analyze threats, and handle cybersecurity incidents.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM tools, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analysis.
• Implement security policies, access controls, and data protection measures.
• Ensure secure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure and network teams to resolve security issues.
• Maintain security documentation and ensure compliance with applicable security standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with firewall management, SIEM, IDS/IPS, network security, and endpoint protection.
• Strong knowledge of data center security, Windows/Linux server security, and vulnerability management.
• Experience in security monitoring, incident response, and risk assessment.
• Experience in government, Smart City, or enterprise data center projects is an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Willingness to work at Jammu or Srinagar locations.
