Cyber Security Consultant (Solution Expert)

About the Role

ForestLinc is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to manage presales activities, cybersecurity solution design, and commercial proposal development. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge along with commercial acumen to understand customer requirements and deliver effective, cost-efficient cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and design suitable cybersecurity solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOMs, and solution architecture.
• Recommend solutions across network security, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
• Work closely with sales teams, customers, and OEMs to develop competitive solutions.
• Support customer presentations, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and PoCs.
• Coordinate with technology partners for product selection, pricing, and solution development.
• Support RFPs, RFQs, and other customer technical requirements.
• Contribute to cybersecurity business growth through effective solution positioning.
• Help build and develop the cybersecurity solutions team as the business expands.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in cybersecurity presales, solution consulting, or solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise security solutions.
• Experience in solution designing, costing, commercial proposals, and OEM coordination.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity products from OEMs such as Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
