About this role
Minimum qualifications:
When leading companies choose Google Cloud, it's a huge win for spreading the power of cloud computing globally. Once educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses sign on to use Google Cloud products, you come in to facilitate making their work more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You listen and deliver what is most helpful for the customer. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.
As a Google Workspace Customer Engineer, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers, enabling them with your business and technical expertise so that they can help shape the future of work and the digital workplace. In this role you will be expected to drive the Technical Win strategy for key accounts, acting as the bridge between ambiguous customer challenges and AI-driven solutions. A central focus of your role will be driving Agentic Workplace Transformation (AWT) by helping customers move beyond simple task acceleration to automating complex, multi-step workflows across their entire organization. You will demonstrate how the unified platform of Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise breaks down context silos, allowing humans and AI agents to collaborate seamlessly with shared enterprise-wide context grounded in the organization's data. You will advise customers on deploying and governing the AI agents—built by Google, partners, or the customers themselves—to ensure high-value automation at an organizational scale while maintaining enterprise-grade security and compliance.
Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.
Responsibilities

- Experience with scripting for automation, code development and low code/no code solutions.
- Experience gathering business requirements, conducting white-boarding sessions, and leading technical presentations.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
- Experience in modern productivity and collaboration platforms, with expertise in integrating AI, IoT, and Audio/Visual (A/V) systems to deliver next-generation user experiences.
- Ability to effectively present and articulate the business value of the Google AI full stack, Generative AI solutions, and cloud platform capabilities to C-suite executives, Line of Business (LoB) leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to drive thought leadership in digital workplace transformation, the future of work, AI-powered workplace solutions, smart spaces, or related emerging domain areas.
