Summary: As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience in leading software development teams and managing complex projects.
• Ability to ensure code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to coding standards.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and scalable software design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business-aligned technical solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
