In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards, ensuring that the software produced is of high quality, scalable, and performs efficiently. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of processes to support successful project outcomes.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and team productivity.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and technical standards.

Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.

- Familiarity with performance tuning, scalability considerations, and code quality assurance.
