Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and reliability.
• Document software designs, processes, and code to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex software issues.
• Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies including agile practices.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
