Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. Utilizing modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, the engineer continuously refines and improves software to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve functionality and user experience.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their development tasks.
- Continuously explore and implement best practices to optimize software development processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM).
- Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow CSM modules to align with business processes.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within ServiceNow environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs related to ServiceNow platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
