Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development tasks with strategic planning to deliver robust and scalable software systems that support evolving business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Project Management (PM).
• Strong capability in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables within Workday environments.
• Experience in configuring and customizing Workday applications to meet complex business requirements.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical specifications for software development.
• Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Competence in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Workday application performance and integration.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Project Management (PM).
• This position is based at our Pune office.
