Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The work environment is dynamic, often involving iterative development cycles and the application of modern methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products that meet evolving organizational needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
• Strong knowledge of integration design patterns and best practices within enterprise environments.
• Experience with API development and management to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
