Custom Software Engineer

Project Role : Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. Drive end-to-end delivery of enhancements and break fixes for PeopleSoft HCM applications, including requirement analysis, design, development, unit testing, and post-production support. Perform development using PeopleSoft technologies (PeopleTools, PeopleCode, App Engine, CI, SQR) and support integrations with systems such as Salesforce, ADP, and web services within a complex enterprise landscape. Support release management and SDLC activities, including pre-prod validation, production migrations, UAT support, and biweekly releases aligned to DevOps practices (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins). Contribute to ongoing upgrades and lifecycle management, including PeopleTools/PUM upgrades, tax updates, and system optimization initiatives, ensuring application stability and compliance. Collaborate with functional, testing, and support teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to defined SLAs, performance metrics, and timelines. Develop and enhance modern user experiences, including PeopleSoft Fluid page design/conversions and mobile-enabled solutions (e.g.timesheet apps), among other digital initiatives.
