Role Overview The Marketing BI & Analytics Lead will support the Marketing organization by transforming curated marketing, web, campaign, sales, and customer data into trusted, business-ready reporting and analytics. This role is primarily responsible for the business intelligence and reporting layer, including Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, KPI logic, and metric definitions that help leaders understand performance and make better decisions. This is not intended to be the primary platform administration or data pipeline role instead, it focuses on turning prepared data into scalable reporting assets. This role supports specialized Marketing Operations reporting needs that span campaign hierarchy, funnel progression, web engagement, account engagement, pipeline influence, SLA visibility, and executive marketing performance reporting. This role will operate within a broader U.S.-led analytics and data team structure, partnering closely with team leadership, stakeholders, and the Marketing Data Operations & Segmentation Lead to translate defined business needs into dashboards and reporting solutions. The BI role is best suited for a strong reporting professional with deep Power BI capability, solid analytics fundamentals, and enough business acumen to refine outputs based on feedback. Prior experience with marketing or GTM data is preferred, but strong BI engineering, reporting, and analytical skills are the priority. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models that support marketing performance management and executive decision-making. Translate defined business requirements into clean, scalable, and reusable reporting solutions, while also engaging directly with stakeholders to review outputs, gather feedback, and make adjustments. Build and maintain reporting logic, KPI calculations, measures, dimensions, and metric definitions that enable consistent reporting across campaigns, funnel stages, website performance, and GTM motions. Maintain alignment between reporting outputs and marketing operating definitions, including lifecycle stages, campaign hierarchy, source attribution, funnel movement, account engagement, and pipeline influence logic. Support full-funnel marketing reporting, including lead flow, MQL/SQL/SAO movement, campaign performance, account engagement, pipeline influence, attribution support, and SLA visibility. Partner with U.S.-based team leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to validate requirements, test outputs, and ensure reporting is accurate, usable, and aligned to business needs. Partner with Rev Ops, IT and other cross functional teams as necessary to align marketing data & reporting requirements, to ensure single source reporting and connection to the broader enterprise reporting teams. Create reporting experiences that are intuitive for business users and suitable for both operational and executive audiences. Work closely with the complementary data-focused role to align reporting needs with source data, curated datasets, and overall data readiness. Conduct data validation, QA, and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports are accurate and trusted. Contribute to dashboard governance, including documentation, report rationalization, version control, and retirement of outdated reporting assets. Apply AI-enabled tools and modern development practices to improve speed, quality, documentation, testing, and ongoing optimization of analytics deliverables. Required Skills and Experience Strong hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI. Experience building and maintaining semantic models, reusable datasets, measures, and reporting logic in Power BI. Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and SQL. Ability to translate defined business requirements into clear reporting solutions and adjust outputs based on stakeholder feedback. Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, usability, and dashboard performance. Experience documenting metric definitions, reporting logic, and dashboard assumptions in a clear and business-friendly way. Comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global team environment. Experience using AI-enabled tools, copilots, or automation to improve analytics development, testing, documentation, or productivity. Experience working with business data in marketing, sales, customer, finance, product, or digital contexts is preferred. Prior marketing or GTM reporting experience is preferred candidates must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn marketing performance, funnel, campaign, and pipeline concepts. Exposure to platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Salesforce, GA4, or similar business systems is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to validate reporting outputs before they are shared with stakeholders. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a strong BI and reporting professional who knows how to turn curated data into clear, usable, and trusted dashboards. This person does not need to arrive as a martech platform expert, but should be able to learn the business quickly, work effectively with stakeholders, and translate feedback into better reporting solutions. They should be comfortable operating within a globally distributed team and partnering closely with a more platform- and data-oriented counterpart. This person should be detail-oriented, business-minded, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work across both technical and non-technical teams. They should bring a continuous improvement mindset, communicate clearly, and use AI tools pragmatically to move faster, improve quality, and streamline routine analytics work without over-relying on them in place of sound judgment. Success Measures Marketing leaders have access to accurate, consistent, and usable reporting that supports decision-making. Power BI dashboards and reporting assets are trusted, well-documented, and aligned to agreed-upon metric definitions. Stakeholder feedback is incorporated efficiently, resulting in reporting that is practical, relevant, and adopted by the business. The reporting layer works effectively in partnership with the broader data team and the complementary data-focused role. Dashboard development and maintenance become faster, more scalable, and less dependent on ad hoc manual work. AI-enabled practices improve productivity and quality in meaningful ways while maintaining reporting accuracy and control.
