Role Overview: Responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of automotive software applications, digital products, and enterprise platforms through manual and automated testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing software components to improve performance and reliability.
• Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Conduct API testing and backend validation.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools to design and execute automated test cases.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in automated test scripts and software components.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to support automated testing.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and version control systems to manage test automation code effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields.
• 2–8 years of experience in QA/Test Automation.
• Experience in automotive, connected vehicle, mobility, or enterprise software domains is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, or automotive testing processes is preferred for vehicle software projects.
