As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software configurations.
• Maintain documentation related to configuration changes and customizations to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Support testing activities by validating configuration changes and assisting in troubleshooting issues.
• Continuously update knowledge on software updates and industry best practices to enhance configuration strategies.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve configuration-related issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other modules such as Finance and Materials Management.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
