Role Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects for global clients. The role involves managing scope, timelines, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations while leading cross-functional teams to deliver business value through technology solutions. Supply chain project execution experience is mandatory along with BlueYonder experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria in alignment with client goals.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Ensure timely delivery of project outputs by managing execution across development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
- Facilitate regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and escalation management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and transparency.
- Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams across geographies (onshore/offshore).
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve delivery blockers.
- Drive team motivation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Risk, Quality & Compliance
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and quality assurance practices.
- Comply with Accenture's delivery, security, and audit standards.
- Budget & Financial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and billing schedules.
- Ensure alignment to contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Track financial performance and report variances with mitigation actions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum, PMP, or PRINCE2 methodologies
- Proficient in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or Clarity
Additional Information:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience delivering projects in Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Cloud environments
- Exposure to global delivery models and stakeholder management across time zones
