Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Throughout the day, the engineer applies modern development methodologies and frameworks to build scalable and efficient applications, ensuring that the software meets performance and quality standards. Problem-solving and iterative enhancement of existing components are also key activities, contributing to the overall success of the project and alignment with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• SAP SD Consultant 1 - Shared IMEA/APAC
• Shared member of APAC & IMEA Regional Teams – needed to work on APAC time zone part of the time
• Client facing skills
• Functional Skills on SAP SD
• Be able to connect with the Client
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Experience with configuring and customizing SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and integration points within SAP environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to sales and distribution workflows.
• Familiarity with SAP system enhancements, user exits, and BADI implementations to extend standard functionality.

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
