Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different stakeholders and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to improve software quality and delivery.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to facilitate smooth project execution and timely resolution of challenges.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Tools.
• Power Platform admin experience (DLP, governance, monitoring)
• Azure knowledge (Functions, APIs, Service Bus, App Services, networking basics)
• Monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics/KQL) and end-to-end tracing
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication (OAuth, Managed Identity, RBAC)
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and release/change impact management
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks in regulated environments
• Troubleshooting skills, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with integration of GRC tools within enterprise environments.
• Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing software performance.
