As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, continuously refining and improving software to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and problem-solving are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the solutions align with organizational goals and provide meaningful impact across multiple platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with EDI expertise.
• Should have worked in 1 to 2 End to End Implementation projects and have experience in doing configurations and writing Functional specifications/Design.
• Experience in working in EDI interfaces is a must.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with database management and data integration techniques.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD modules to meet business requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD processes and integrations.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules such as Materials Management and Finance.
• Skilled in analyzing business processes and translating them into technical specifications for SAP SD enhancements.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
