As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving the successful delivery of solutions. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous collaboration to align technical efforts with business goals.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project objectives and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
• Experience with distributed data processing and large-scale data transformations using PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and optimization techniques.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code in PySpark.
• Familiarity with integrating PySpark applications with cloud platforms and data storage solutions.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and performance tuning in PySpark environments.

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PySpark.
• This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
