Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes assisting in designing software configurations and customizing solutions that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires close attention to detail and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that software implementations meet organizational objectives and support seamless business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software configurations with business goals.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience in configuring and customizing software to meet specific business requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with integration points between sales and distribution modules and other enterprise systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
