Cursor Developer – Data Engineering Work Type: 100% Remote (India)

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a Cursor Developer to accelerate data pipeline development using AI-assisted coding. You'll leverage Cursor, PySpark, and SQL to convert business requirements into production-ready dataflows while building reusable patterns and automation that scale across the team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop transformation logic and notebooks using PySpark/SQL with Cursor AI assistance
• Convert business operations requirements into scalable data pipelines
• Design and build reusable patterns and templates to accelerate pipeline delivery
• Perform code reviews and quality control on data transformations
• Support pipeline engineers with bulk transformation automation

MUST HAVE:

• 4–8 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with

PySpark ,

SQL , and

Python .

• Experience using

Cursor AI for development (Mandatory).

• Git and code review experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• Databricks or cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• dbt or Apache Airflow experience
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Other AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Copilot)
