Current Account Sales Officer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Sales current account through the open market and manage a portfolio of merchants to drive sales growth through effective relationship management, product knowledge, and solution selling.
• Identify new business opportunities by prospecting for potential clients and building relationships with key decision-makers.
• Conduct regular visits to merchant locations to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using our products/services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales revenue from existing and new customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and other stakeholders to achieve sales targets.

Job Requirements :

• 1-5 years of experience in field sales or related roles such as field marketing or merchant onboarding.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry trends, particularly in the area of current accounts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly at all levels.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
• Experience in EDC sales, Merchant Onboarding, and Current Account Sales is desirable.
