Culinary Training Officer

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Culinary Training Supervisor in training initiatives
• Provide e-learning coaching to crew members
• Coach, assess, and support crew competence development onboard vessels
• Maintain training records and follow up on training requirements
• Conduct onboard vessel visits and provide culinary consultancy and on-the-job training
• Report training progress, issues, and concerns to the relevant supervisors
• Participate in in-house training programs and support other training initiatives

What Were Looking For:
• Graduate of a Culinary College or Hotel Management College
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef
• Strong MS Office and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent command of an Indian language
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel
• Passion for the maritime industry

An advantage would be:
• Experience in culinary training, consultancy, or mentoring kitchen staff
• Previous experience as a Chief Cook onboard merchant vessels
• Familiarity with maritime catering standards and practices
