Position: CT Scan Technician / CT Technologist

Qualifications

• B.Sc / Diploma in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology
• Relevant CT Scan Technician qualification
• Valid registration/certification as applicable

Experience

• Experienced CT Technicians preferred
• Candidates with hands-on experience in CT Scan operations will be given preference

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT Scan equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine and contrast-enhanced CT examinations as per protocols
• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the examination process
• Verify patient details, clinical history and investigation requirements
• Position patients correctly and ensure high-quality image acquisition
• Assist Radiologists during specialized CT procedures when required
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety
• Ensure proper handling and care of CT equipment
• Monitor contrast administration and promptly report any adverse reactions
• Maintain daily CT logs, patient records and procedure documentation
• Coordinate with Radiologists, doctors, nurses and front-office staff
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the CT room and equipment
• Report equipment issues promptly to the concerned technical/biomedical team
• Follow hospital/diagnostic centre SOPs and quality protocols

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT Scan procedures and protocols
• Good patient positioning and image acquisition skills
• Knowledge of contrast studies and radiation safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic setup
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Responsible and safety-focused approach
