Cross Border Tech Compliance Adviso

Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role focuses on ensuring that Industrial Robot News technology platforms, data practices, and cross-border information flows comply with applicable international, regional, and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments in technology, data privacy, and digital media, assessing their impact on global operations, and advising internal stakeholders on compliance requirements. The advisor will review and refine internal policies, support risk assessments related to cross-border data transfer and platform usage, and coordinate with legal and technical teams to implement compliant processes and controls. The role also involves preparing documentation, conducting compliance training for staff, and supporting audits or regulatory inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of technology regulation, data privacy, and cross-border data transfer frameworks (e.g., GDPR, regional data protection laws, platform compliance standards).
• Experience assessing compliance risks and designing practical controls for digital platforms, online content distribution, and international operations.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory texts and translate requirements into clear guidance for non-technical and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple compliance initiatives.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to deliver training and collaborate across legal, technical, and business teams.
• Background in law, compliance, information security, or related fields; a bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Business, Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Prior experience in tech, media, or data-driven organizations, and familiarity with robotics or industrial automation sectors is an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical practices, continuous learning in evolving tech regulations, and working on-site in Hyderabad.
