What you'll be responsible for Role Scope & Key Responsibilities

Asset Expansion – On-Ground Execution Objective: Drive flawless execution of the annual cabinet expansion plan in close coordination with the field force. Key Responsibilities: Execute the annual cabinet expansion plan town-wise and channel-wise as per the strategy defined by the COE Manager. Coordinate with ASMs, RSMs, and the larger field teams to ensure timely placement of assets in identified outlets. Partner with the Refrigeration team to track movement, deployment, and installation timelines. Support post-placement performance tracking and highlight underperforming assets for corrective action. KPIs: Net Cabinet Addition vs. Plan Execution adherence (TAT for placement)

KPI Analysis & MIS Objective: Enable fact-based decision making by analysing KPI trends and translating MIS data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Track and analyse key field sales KPIs (distribution, asset productivity, execution etc.) on a periodic basis. Identify KPIs that are trending positively vs. those that are lagging, and surface improvement areas to the COE Manager and field leadership. Support the COE Manager in building diagnostic views (region-wise, town-wise, cohort-wise) to aid leadership reviews. KPIs: Accuracy and timeliness of MIS / dashboards Quality of insights generated (actionability) Adoption of dashboards by field teams

RS Infra Planning & Audit Objective: Ensure RS infrastructure is adequately planned and audited to support the aligned business plan. Key Responsibilities: Build the RS-level infra plan (TDUs, coldroom capacity, manpower-linked infra needs) basis the aligned annual business plan for each RS. Partner with regional teams to validate infra requirements and ensure timely readiness ahead of season. Conduct periodic audits of existing infra at RS points to assess adequacy, utilisation, and compliance. Identify infra gaps or excesses and recommend corrective actions (upgrades, rebalancing, decommissioning). Maintain an updated RS infra master and audit log for governance. KPIs: RS infra readiness vs. business plan Audit coverage (% of RSs audited in cycle) Closure of identified infra gaps within agreed TAT
We're looking for someone who 4–6 years of experience in FMCG / Consumer / Retail sales, preferably with exposure to Sales Excellence, Sales Operations, or Business Planning. Working knowledge of general trade and asset-led distribution models (preferred: Ice Cream / Beverages / Dairy / Impulse categories). Prior experience of working closely with field sales teams (ASMs/RSMs) and distributor (RS) operations. Exposure to SFA / DMS tools and field MIS is preferred. Functional & Analytical Capabilities Good understanding of sales KPIs, distributor economics, and field productivity metrics. High data comfort: Excel, BI/dashboarding tools, and ability to translate data into clear insights. Structured problem-solving with attention to detail and audit-readiness. Behavioral Capabilities Strong execution orientation with the ability to drive outcomes through cross-functional teams. Good stakeholder management — comfortable engaging with field teams and RS partners. Ownership mindset with discipline on follow-through and process adherence. Comfortable balancing analytical work with on-ground execution.
