About this role
- Mechanical engineer with experience in Electro-mechanical Product design,
- Expertise in prototyping and documentation using software like Creo, Windchill.
- Familiar with Creo Pro-Mechanism, Bill of Materials of engineering products.
- Perform Assigned tasks on product development and validation coordinating with Design Engineers, Test Labs, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing and Suppliers as required
- Use of Creo Pro-Mechanism tool to perform motion analysis on the switch mechanism design.
- Design of sheet metal and Plastic components with reference to the legacy designs.
- Execution of Product validation tests for all types of products according to test plans and standardized testing methodologies and requirements
- Lead documentation of technical design details & test results; participate in program reviews and prepare invention disclosures where appropriate.
- Support Root cause analysis of any failures during product building and testing.
- Perform tolerance studies and design analysis as required.
- Prepare the Prototype samples for product validation tests.
- Ordering of samples coordinating with Suppliers and cross functional teams.
- Communicate status and problems to project leaders and Design Engineers.
- Document technical design details, test results and update internal process/procedure documents and instructions.
