Credit Officer/ Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Credit Appraisal/ Underwriting and Risk Assessment, preferably in NBFC/ Banking, with exposure to Co-Lending.
• Analyze financial statements, banking data, CIBIL reports, cash flows, and repayment capacity to assess creditworthiness.
• Manage co-lending cases and coordinate with external co-lenders/banks/NBFCs for approvals, queries and TAT.
• Ensure loan disbursement as per business plans, credit policies and approved terms.
• Take informed decisions on loan approvals, rejections, deviations and risk mitigants.
• Ensure compliance with RBI/regulatory guidelines, internal policies and credit processes.
• Monitor loan portfolio, repayments and early warning signals to control delinquencies and bad debts.
• Maintain accurate credit records, MIS, portfolio reports and TAT trackers.
• Review and recommend changes in credit policies based on portfolio performance, market conditions and risk trends.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Risk, Legal and Collections teams for smooth business operations.
• Strong MS Excel, analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills required.
• Experience in NBFC/Bank/Fintech lending and co-lending preferred.
