Credit Manager - Mass Market

Job Description

• Conduct end-to-end credit assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications, from login to disbursal, in line with company policies and credit guidelines.
• Evaluate loan applications for creditworthiness through financial analysis, credit bureau assessment, income evaluation, banking analysis, and adherence to KYC requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely approval, sanction, and disbursal of mortgage loans while maintaining credit quality.
• Assess customer profiles, repayment capacity, business cash flows, and property-related documentation to support sound credit decisions.
• Coordinate with legal, technical, processing, and valuation vendors to facilitate seamless underwriting and disbursal processes.
• Conduct customer interactions, field visits, and in-person discussions whenever required for credit evaluation and risk assessment.
• Monitor and maintain agreed processing turnaround times (TAT) without compromising credit quality and compliance standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, audit observations, and risk management frameworks.
• Participate in internal and external audits and provide required documentation and clarifications.
• Manage vendor performance, quality standards, and service delivery to support efficient credit operations.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Risk, and other cross-functional teams to achieve portfolio growth while maintaining asset quality.
