Job Responsibilities**
- Manage the end-to-end credit assessment and approval process for various loan products, including retail and business loans.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applications, including evaluating creditworthiness, collateral, and repayment capacity.
- Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve business targets while maintaining credit quality.
- Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external credit-related regulations and audits.
- Handle customer queries and complaints related to credit decisions and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience in credit assessment, risk analysis, and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and various lending products.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and credit analysis tools.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory environment in Bhimavaram and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
