Creative Designer Graphic, Video & AI

About the Role

Barker Shoes is looking for a Creative Designer Graphic, Video & AI to join our Gurgaon marketing team. The role will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content across e-commerce, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, video and AI-generated content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye, understand premium fashion/footwear branding and be comfortable using both traditional design software and the latest AI creative tools to produce engaging content efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

• Create creatives for Barker Shoes' website, social media, email campaigns and digital advertising.
• Design website banners, landing-page graphics, promotional campaigns and product/category visuals.
• Create marketing materials for AW/SS launches, seasonal campaigns, Sale, Black Friday, Christmas and new store launches.
• Maintain consistency with Barker Shoes' premium British brand identity.
• Adapt designs into different formats and sizes for various platforms.

Video & Motion

• Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
• Edit product videos, campaign videos and social media content.
• Create engaging product animations, transitions, text animations and motion graphics.
• Convert photography and product assets into engaging video content.
• Support video content for new product launches and marketing campaigns.

AI Creative & Content

• Use AI tools to generate and enhance creative concepts, imagery, backgrounds and campaign content.
• Explore AI tools for image generation, video generation, image editing, retouching and creative ideation.
• Use AI to create variations of marketing creatives and accelerate content production.
• Experiment with emerging AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the creative process.
• Combine AI-generated assets with traditional graphic design and video-editing workflows while maintaining brand quality.
• Stay updated with new AI creative technologies and recommend useful tools for the business.
• E-commerce Creative
• Create product and promotional assets for the Barker Shoes Shopify website.
• Produce homepage banners, collection banners and promotional graphics.
• Create visuals for product launches and online campaigns.
• Optimise creative assets for both desktop and mobile.
• Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to deliver campaigns on time.
• Social Media
• Develop creative concepts and visual content for Instagram, Facebook and other social channels.
• Create posts, carousels, stories, reels and short-form videos.
• Develop content around products, craftsmanship, heritage, new collections and promotions.
• Help increase engagement through fresh and innovative creative concepts.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut or similar video-editing tools.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout and branding.
• Experience creating social media and e-commerce content.
• Good understanding of video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong interest and practical experience in AI creative tools.
• Ability to use AI tools for both image and video generation/editing.
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of premium brand aesthetics.
• AI Tools

Experience with tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Runway, Kling, Sora or similar AI platforms would be an advantage.

The candidate should be someone who is actively experimenting with AI, rather than simply having theoretical knowledge of AI.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Fine Arts or related field preferred.
• 24 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in fashion, footwear, retail, e-commerce or premium/luxury brands is preferred.
• Strong portfolio is mandatory.
