Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes safely for lifting, shifting, and placing construction materials at the project site.
- Follow instructions from site engineers, signalmen, and rigging personnel during lifting operations.
- Inspect the crane, lifting equipment, and safety systems before starting operations.
- Ensure the cranes load capacity is not exceeded and follow approved lifting procedures.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and signalmen to ensure safe lifting and material movement.
- Report any mechanical issues, equipment damage, or unsafe site conditions immediately.
- Maintain daily crane operation and inspection records.
- Follow all site safety rules and applicable construction safety standards.
- Ensure proper parking, shutdown, and securing of the crane after operations.
- Assist with routine maintenance checks and coordinate servicing when required.
