CPU Performance Architect

Job Details:

Be part of the SoC Performance Architecture team shaping next-generation client SoCs. Drive innovation in performance modeling, performance analysis methodologies, and performance modeling infrastructure. Lead and execute research initiatives to enhance SoC performance, translating concepts into architectural models and partnering with architecture and design teams to deliver product-ready solutions. Model emerging microarchitectures, identify performance bottlenecks, and develop data-driven optimizations. Collaborate closely with validation teams to ensure performance features deliver measurable product benefits and meet architectural objectives.

Qualifications:Computer arch expertise with course/projects focusing on at least one aspect of computer architectureAlternately strong understanding of either traditional data structures and algorithms or deep learning techniques with an interest to apply them in computer architectureStrong C++ or object oriented programming skillsMinimum expected experience - B.Tech + 5 yrs or M.Tech + 3 years or Ph.D with internships in following areasExperience in C++/System C TLM modelingExperience in specific sub-systems of Soc like cache, memory or fabricExperience with handling performance model/performance analysis of complex Socs with latency/bandwidth/power expectationsExposure to scripting or RTL validation environments is an added advantageExposure in bringing up /integrating performance/functional simulators and/or analysis or workloads will be an added advantage.
