Coveo Search Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement robust solutions on the Coveo Search platform.
• Create detailed functional and technical design documents aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Actively participate in Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain custom indexing pipelines, query pipelines, and extensions within Coveo.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through coding, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and relevance of search solutions.
• Contribute to and work within CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in search relevance, performance tuning, and UX outcomes.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Coveo Expertise

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with Coveo Search platform development.
• Strong experience across core Coveo modules: 
• Indexing
• Indexing Pipeline Extensions
• Query Pipeline
• Automatic Relevance Tuning (ART)
• Query Suggestions (QS)
• Machine Learning Models
• Coveo Analytics

Search & Integration

• Strong understanding of: 
• Indexing processes and content ingestion
• Query optimization and tuning techniques
• Relevance tuning strategies
• Hands-on experience with: 
• Coveo Search APIs
• Integration of Coveo with UI applications
• Expertise in content indexing approaches: 
• Out-of-the-box (OOB) connectors
• Push API
• Custom ingestion methods

Development & Technical Skills

• Proficiency in: 
• RESTful Web Services and APIs
• Python
• SOAP/XML, JSON
• Strong experience in web development and API development (6+ years)

DevOps & Tools

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and technologies: 
• Git
• Jenkins
• Maven
• Docker
• Kubernetes

Platform Management

• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Coveo environments.
• Ability to build custom extensions and enhance search capabilities.
