Role Description:

The Country General Manager is a full-time, remote role based in India. This role oversees the commercial performance, brand presence, and operational execution in the Indian market, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing country-level business plans, managing sales channels and key accounts, and driving marketing and promotional activities to grow market share. The Country Manager monitors performance metrics, analyses market trends, and identifies opportunities for new partnerships, products, or customer segments. The role also involves leading and coaching local team members, collaborating with regional and global stakeholders, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. The role involves working closely with Hong Kong ad Australia teams and reports directly to the Head of APAC position.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience (preferred camera/imaging industry)
• Experience in country or regional business management, including strategic planning, sales leadership, and P&L responsibility.
• Background in Imaging or consumer electronics, or related technology sectors, with strong commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, channel management, and partner relationship building.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with market analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Proven people leadership capabilities, including team mentorship, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment and across cultures and time zones.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial.
