Counterparty Credit Risk Analysis

Role Scope / Job Description:
• Experience in Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) within banking or financial services institutions

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Excel with the ability to work on large and complex datasets
  • Good understanding of CCR methodologies, exposure measurement, and risk analytics
  • Knowledge of banking products relevant to Counterparty Credit Risk, including derivatives, securities financing transactions, and lending products
  • Closely work with the Credit Strategy Group (CSG) to support risk reporting and portfolio analysis activities
  • Preparation of monthly Credit Risk reporting packs and management dashboards for senior stakeholders
  • Analysis of credit risk exposures moves, trends, concentrations, and portfolio movements
  • Support preparation and review of regulatory, management, and internal bank risk reports
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities using SQL
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support credit risk decision-making and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of risk data used in reporting
  • Work with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Business teams to address reporting and data-related queries
  • Assist in identifying process improvement and automation opportunities within risk reporting workflows
  • Support governance, controls, and documentation related to risk reporting processes
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Candidate will join EY as a full-time employee and support strategic banking client engagements

Key Focus Areas for Sourcing

• Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) experience is mandatory
