• Prepare and maintain product-wise costing sheets, including raw materials, labour, manufacturing overheads, and other direct and indirect costs.
• Calculate and analyse product costs, standard costs, and actual costs.
• Prepare cost estimates for new products and engineering changes.
• Analyse material consumption, production variances, and overhead absorption.
• Monitor raw material prices and assess their impact on product costing.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores, and Finance teams for cost-related data.
• Prepare cost variance reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and month-end costing activities.
• Maintain costing records, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and cost masters in ERP systems.
• Assist in budgeting, MIS reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of costing data and adherence to internal procedures.

Preferred Candidate experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
• Exposure to electrical components, terminal blocks, connectors, or similar industrial products is an advantage.
• Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and cost optimisation.
• Candidates with CMA Inter or relevant cost accounting experience will be preferred.
