Location: Chennai

We are looking for an experienced Corrosion Engineer with expertise in corrosion management, damage mechanism assessment, mechanical integrity, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, and Fertilizer facilities. The role involves identifying degradation mechanisms, developing inspection strategies, supporting RBI implementation, and ensuring asset integrity for static equipment and piping. Based on the uploaded JD.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform corrosion and damage mechanism assessments in accordance with API 571.
• Support RBI studies for pressure vessels, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, PSVs, and other static equipment.
• Develop corrosion loops, circuitisation, CMD, CCD, IOW, and inspection plans.
• Assess Probability of Failure (PoF) and Consequence of Failure (CoF) and develop risk-based inspection strategies.
• Recommend inspection intervals, techniques, and locations based on degradation mechanisms.
• Support Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments and mechanical integrity activities.
• Work with industry standards such as API 510, 570, 579, 580/581, ASME B31.3, and ASME FFS-1.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in Corrosion Engineering and Mechanical Integrity.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, or Fertilizer industries.
• Knowledge of API 571, API 580/581, corrosion loops, IOW, CMD, CCD, and RBI methodologies.
• Exposure to PCMS, GE APM, Cenosco, SAP, or Maximo will be an added advantage.
