Location: Delhi

CTC: Up to 22 LPA

Experience: 7 - 10 Years

Industry - NBFC / Banking / Financial Services

Qualification: LLB from a recognized law school; admission to the Bar in India

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve Title Search Reports for mortgage properties and ensure legal due diligence.

Identify property title risks and ensure enforceability of collateral.

Handle mortgage legal documentation, including drafting, reviewing and standardizing security documents.

Manage and coordinate with empanelled advocates and external counsels.

Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines and NBFC regulations.

Draft legal policies and streamline mortgage legal processes.

Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Operations and Business teams.

Manage legal queries, MIS, audits and process improvements.

Candidate Requirements:

710 years of relevant experience in a bank, NBFC, financial institution or lending company.

Strong knowledge of property laws, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act and Registration Act.

Hands-on experience in mortgage legal matters, title diligence and collateral verification.

Additional certifications in financial law or fintech regulations will be an advantage.
