Corporate Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

Debt Raising & Structured Finance

• Lead end-to-end debt fundraising activities including:
• Project finance
• Term loans
• Working capital facilities
• Structured debt transactions
• Equipment financing
• Infrastructure financing
• Engage with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and private lenders for fundraising initiatives
• Develop lender presentations, financial models, information memorandums, and financing proposals
• Drive syndication and consortium financing discussions for large projects
• Support refinancing and optimization of existing debt structures
• Evaluate innovative financing structures including sustainability-linked financing and green funding instruments

2. Banking & Financial Institution Relationships

• Build and manage strategic relationships with:
• Public and private sector banks
• NBFCs
• Infrastructure finance institutions
• Multilateral and development finance institutions
• Act as the primary interface between the company and lenders
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, security structures, covenants, and financing documentation
• Ensure smooth coordination for sanction approvals and disbursements
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with rating agencies, trustees, and financial advisors

3. Financial Structuring & Documentation

• Lead preparation and review of:
• Sanction letters
• Loan agreements
• Security documentation
• Financing term sheets
• Compliance documentation
• Ensure timely submission of financial information, MIS, and covenant compliance to lenders
• Monitor repayment schedules, debt servicing obligations, and banking compliances
• Coordinate with legal, secretarial, and treasury teams for execution and closure of financing documentation

4. Strategic Finance & Growth Support

• Support leadership in capital planning and funding strategy
• Work closely with internal finance, legal, business, and project teams on fundraising initiatives
• Assist in evaluating new financing opportunities, green financing instruments, and sustainability-linked funding
• Support strategic initiatives including expansion projects, infrastructure investments, bidding support, and future capital market readiness
• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid financial evaluation, funding assessment, and lender alignment for strategic projects
• Engage in policy advocacy initiatives and coordinate with industry bodies, financial institutions, and regulatory stakeholders on financing-related matters impacting the business
• Provide financial insights for strategic business decisions and long-term capital structure optimization

Key Requirement:

• CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
• 0 - 3 years of relevant experience (including internship / articleship / industrial training experience) in:
• Debt raising
• Project finance
• Corporate finance
• Infrastructure financing
• Banking relations
• Structured finance
• Exposure to infrastructure, mobility, renewable energy, EV, transportation, or capital-intensive industries preferred
• Track record of handling large debt transactions and lender negotiations
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, banking products, and financing structures
• Experience in dealing with consortium lending and multiple financial institutions
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and execution capabilities with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
