Corporate Banking Associate

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by demonstrating empathy, active, listening, and professionalism.
• Addressing their queries /requests on time.
• Managing rate quotation for Loans (drawdown & Rollover), steering foreign outward and inward, transactions, issuance of Bank Guarantee, regular customer services including advisory services, to client base.
• Manage follow-ups with clients for submission of regulatory reports, including Stock Statements, Due Diligence Reports, End-Use Certificates and UFCE.
• Undertake monthly credit controls within the stipulated timeline.
• On Boarding of Clients with proper scrutiny of KYC document and periodic review of Customer Due Diligence.
• Provided support to clients for onboarding onto digital banking platforms and for operating the platforms effectively.
• Prepared approval applications for charges and additional facilities and coordinated with the E-Banking team to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Scrutiny of Import Bills-Lodgement & Realization of Import bills under LC, Collection bills.
• Scrutiny of Export bills- Lodgement, Realization under LC.
• Support Issuance of Bank guarantees- Advance, Performance, Financial, and SFMS advising.
• Support handling LC Discounting, Supply Chain Financing-Invoice Discounting.
• Handling Forex Transactions after initial scrutiny & documents check outward remittance and Inward remittance.
• Booking of all exchange rates in coordination with customer & Treasury.
• Ensured smooth Functioning of operations while following the compliance requirements & audit remarks in check.
