Corel Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Corel Designer with 34 years of experience in the jewellery industry. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Corel DRAW software and prior experience working with the US jewellery export market.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in creating jewellery designs, preparing design layouts, modifying artwork as per buyer requirements, and ensuring designs meet customer specifications and export quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop jewellery designs, layouts, and artwork using Corel DRAW.
• Prepare and modify designs according to customer briefs, reference images, and buyer specifications.
• Work on jewellery designs for the US export market, considering buyer preferences and current trends.
• Make design revisions and corrections based on client feedback.
• Prepare accurate design files and layouts for sampling and production.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and sampling teams for smooth design execution.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in all design deliverables.
• Maintain design files, artwork, and records for future reference.
• Stay updated on jewellery trends, patterns, and international market preferences.
• Complete assigned design projects within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience as a Corel Designer, preferably in the jewellery industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Corel DRAW software.
• Prior experience with the US jewellery export market is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of jewellery design layouts, patterns, artwork, and detailing.
• Ability to understand buyer requirements and translate them into accurate designs.
• Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and export processes is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates from jewellery manufacturing companies or export houses.
• Experience working on designs for US-based buyers or international jewellery brands.
• Understanding of US buyer expectations, design specifications, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple design assignments.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 3–4 years of experience.
• Hands-on CorelDRAW expertise.
• Jewellery industry experience preferred.
• US export market experience required.
