Core Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best coding practices
• Analyze user requirements and convert them into functional specifications
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product, UI)
• Participate in architecture discussions and system design
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of applications
• Maintain and improve existing systems by identifying bugs and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 and above)
• Excellent understanding of:
• OOP concepts (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction)
• Data Structures & Algorithms
• Multithreading and Concurrency
• Collections Framework
• Exception Handling
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred)
• Hands-on with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Familiar with design patterns and system design principles
• Experience in event-driven architecture / messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of frontend basics (HTML, JS, Angular/React) is a plus
