CORE DBA

Required Experience

• Position is expected to work on-site at Client Premises in a 24X7 shift
• Candidate will have 8+ years of experience with Oracle Database with role as DBA/Consultant/Data Base Support Engineer
• Academic Qualifications with BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• Resources need to work in office premises all 5 days a week (customer location). No WFH / remote options are there
• 10+ years of enterprise Oracle database experience with 3+ years of preferred hands-on banking/financial services.
• Client Locations (Specific) : Mumbai, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai

Technical Skills

• Expert-level experience in:
• Oracle RAC
• Data Guard / Active Data Guard
• RMAN
• AWR/ASH performance diagnostics
• Partitioning & Advanced Compression
• OEM
• Strong experience in large OLTP workloads (high TPS environments).
• Experience handling multi-terabyte databases.
• Strong scripting/automation experience (Shell, Python, Ansible).
• Oracle 12c/19c/21c /26Ai architecture
• ASM & storage management
• Exadata (Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, HCC)
• Golden Gate (replication & migration scenarios)
• Database upgrades & migration strategies
• Edition-Based Redefinition (EBR)
• SQL Plan Management (SPM)
• Real Application Testing (RAT)
• Resource Manager
• Connection pooling (WebLogic, application integration)
• Linux performance diagnostics (vmstat, iostat, top, sar)
• Network latency analysis
• Cloud exposure (OCI preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle OCP / OCM certification.
• Experience with Exadata or engineered systems.
• Exposure to cloud-native database architectures.
• Experience in regulatory audits within banking sector.
