Join a global team supporting one of the worlds most advanced cancer treatment technologies. As a Field Service Engineer, you will gain hands-on expertise in particle accelerators, travel internationally, and contribute directly to improving patient care worldwide.
As a Field Service Engineer Accelerators , you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate to the installation and maintenance of the IBA systems, equipments and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites worldwide and more specifically related to the accelerator part on customer s site.
You ensure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services. You will become a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and represent IBA with your know-how .
Challenges we trust you with
- Install and test equipment/systems according to the defined planning, procedure timelines, operating processes, and specifications.
- Perform system troubleshooting and report improvements to the Research and Development Team.
- Maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment/systems taking all necessary actions to resolve problems.
- Assist with the creation of training material and delivery of training to other colleagues.
- Document and report interventions and actions undertaken with high levels of detail and accuracy.
- Support the Remote Helpdesk shifts consisting of troubleshooting and dedicated support to our installed base.
- Participating in multidisciplinary projects to improve processes, product, and emphasize best practice sharing.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Master in electronics, mechanics, or systems engineering, major of Particle Accelerator is a strong asset.
- Based in Hyderabad.
- Fluent communication skills in English, oral and written.
- 5 years of related work experience (with an emphasis on field work), Proven expertise in root-cause analysis, with the ability to lead large-scale system troubleshooting is an asset.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of electronics, Electro-mechanical backgrounds are a strong asset:
- RF systems.
- Power supply experience.
- Vacuum and pneumatic systems.
- Power supplies (high voltage AC and low voltage DC).
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems to plan proactive is an asset.
- Strong experience in high tech medical equipment is an asset.

- Customer service oriented.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills that can give and receive feedback in a positive and constructive way.
- Driven, proactive, and hands-on individual.
- Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
- Focused on delivering on deadlines while ensuring the highest quality standards as required by policies, norms and other rules and regulations.
- Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time, with more travel foreseen during the training period (+/- 6 months).
- A flexible person, willing to work morning, afternoon or night shift and work on weekends.
- Capable of handling pressure in stressful situations.
- Capable of adapting to different cultures and various interlocutors.

Compensation package
The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:

Indian Rupee (1.338.000 - 2.136.600) CTC
The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the roles level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidates profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
