Controller - Sr Analyst

Overview:

As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible foroverseeing the financial and operational control of engineering projects,ensuring alignment with budgetary goals, ensuring efficient resourceallocation, cost management, and compliance with financial regulations. Thisrole bridges engineering and finance, supporting decision-making through dataanalysis, cost control, and process optimization .

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

Develop and maintain budgets for the engineeringsites.

Analyze cost variances and drive correctiveactions

Collaborate with project managers andengineering teams to forecast financial needs and identify cost-savingopportunities.

Monitor budget performance and varianceanalysis, providing regular reports to stakeholders.

Support capital expenditure planning andtracking

Cost Control and Optimization:

Develop KPI to measure performance and costoptimization

Implement cost control measures to optimizeexpenses while maintaining quality standards.

Conduct financial analysis to identify areas forcost reduction or efficiency improvement.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare financial reports, including incomestatements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to track performanceaccurately.

Perform financial analysis to assess projectprofitability, ROI, and financial health.

Present financial insights and recommendationsto management for informed decision-making.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations,accounting standards, and internal policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering teams, projectmanagers, and other stakeholders to align financial goals with projectobjectives.

Provide financial guidance and support to Engteam, fostering a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or arelated field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance) preferred.

Proven experience in financial management,budgeting, and cost control, preferably within a engineering environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability tointerpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Knowledge of accounting principles, financialregulations, and compliance requirements.

Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinaryteams.

Proficiency in financial software and tools,such as Excel, SAP, or similar systems.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and the abilityto prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
