Control M Engineer

We are looking for a Senior ControlM Engineer with strong expertise in ControlM architecture, advanced job scheduling, and enterprise workload automation.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in ControlM components (EM, Server, Agent) and should be actively working in a 247 production support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise batch workloads using ControlM
• Perform job creation, scheduling, and workflow design across complex environments
• Handle ControlM architecture (EM, Server, Agent) including administration and troubleshooting
• Manage end-to-end batch lifecycle including dependencies, calendars, and conditions
• Perform ControlM upgrades, patching, and migrations
• Investigate and resolve critical job failures, performance issues, and SLA breaches
• Provide L3 production support in a 247 environment
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
• Manage ControlM user access, security, and audit compliance
• Work with cross-functional teams (App, DB, Infra) for release & batch alignment
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer

• Strong hands-on experience in ControlM architecture:
• Enterprise Manager (EM)
• ControlM Server
• ControlM Agent
• Hands-on expertise in:

• Dependencies & calendar management
• Experience in ControlM administration:
• Installation, configuration
• Agent deployment
• Upgrades / patching
• Experience in 247 production support environment:
• Incident management
• RCA
• SLA handling
• Strong knowledge of:
• Unix/Linux
• SQL
• Batch processing

Preferred / Good to Have Skills

• ControlM Modules:
• AFT / MFT
• SAP / DB / Informatica
• ControlM Automation API
• Scripting: Shell / Python
• Experience with cloud (AWS / Azure)
• Exposure to migration / HA / DR setups
